Sunday Designer Review. "Korean McQueen"

Good evening, my dearest readers!
Today is Sunday, that special day when I review designers not yet known to general public. Even though that designer might be super-popular in their own homeland and beyond, they might not have gotten proper recognition in the U.S. (yet!)
Today it's about "Korean McQueen", a nickname adopted by Lie Sang Bong, a Korean native designer but wildly popular in Paris and even among American A-listers like Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Rihanna.
"His ready-to-wear collections for women show the perfect pairing of architectural silhouettes with the feminine form. His diverse influences range from imperial love affair of Napoleon and Josephine, Korean poetry and calligraphy, Cubism, [and others]". His first collection was introduced in 1993 and immediately caught attention of most prominent fashionistas. Also, Lie is a member of fashion collective,
Concept Korea IV, which recently showed in New York City.

I see why they call him "Korean McQueen"! His designs indeed are spectacular and vibrant! I especially love the liveliness in his creations. Nice post, once again, thank you so much for this review!
Good luck!
