DIY Chrismas Ornament from the Seas

Good afternoon, my style-savvy readers!
It's this time of the year when our homes get filled with a scent of pine and every corner of our dwelling is delightfully gleaming with shiny decor. It's also the time of the year when the swim suits had long been put away into dusty closets and our memories of beach vacations had already started fading away.
The other day I was cleaning my studio and stumbled upon a bag of sea shells I picked up some while ago on North Carolina shore, and I thought: they're such pretty textures, maybe I should utilize them into unique ornaments for my furry pine. And here's what happened:

You will need:
1.Extra Fine Glitter (any color) available at your local Craft store
2.Assorted Sea shells
3.Scissors
4.Craft Glue
5.Ribbon (0.5 in width in my case)
6.Glue Gun

Step 1. Apply craft glue onto shells working in sections, to create unique stripes and/or pattern. Sprinkle each section with glitter. Let dry for at least 1 hour.

Step 2. Now when the shells are ready, cut 2 pieces of ribbon approx. 1 ft. long.
Step 3. Using glue gun attach the shells to the ribbon strips, leaving space between. Let dry. Tie the knot at the top of the first shell and finish with another knot 3 inches above. And now your ornament is ready to reunite with the tree :)
Step 4. Showcase your piece to your friends and family on the Christmas tree.

My Christmas Pine all ready to celebrate!!!
