Playful Geometry

Ippolita.
I've known this jewelry label for a while and I'm sure it appeared in front of your eyes before too. I've seen the colorful ads of playful geometry in fashion magazines and the web alike. But I never knew who was behind those imaginative creations.

A talented Italian emigre  named Ippolita came to USA in the 80s and found herself in New York City. In early 90s Ippolita private label jewelry design house was born. In 2000 Ippolita was first launched in Bergdorf Goodman flagship store and skyrocketed to other major luxury retailers in the next years.
I've always been fascinated by these unique geometric shapes encased in precious metals and unusually juxtaposed.
The most recent collections are called "Riviera Sky"  and "Rock Candy" and you could probably tell why!
