Happy Monday, friends!
I'm excited to unveil #fabricproject No.8!
While peeking into color stories of designers for F/W 2012, I've been noticing splashes of red on the runways, stubbornly bleeding into 2013 trends. So, I need a red dress!
There was another episode that led me to this particular design. A friend recently boasted her fresh wardrobe addition, a Kenneth Cole asymmetric color block dress. I'm a rare visitor at Kenneth Cole stores, however, this dress touched my heart. It's ideal to hide any imperfections.
So, I thought: Why wouldn't I design a similar frock but with a DC2NYCo twist?
And as soon I started sketching, I fell in love even more!
This is the inspiration

Now, see the mood board below, and I'm running to my studio to sew.

Stay tuned for a finished dress!
