Fabric Project No.1 "Neon Coral"

Hey friends!
How's your week so far?? Hope you've been enjoying it to the fullest as I have, with all that nice spring weather.
My week is going to be busy for sure. After all that fabric hauling (see here), I'm almost overwhelmed by all these bright finds I scored. I did a little Spring cleaning in my studio, rearranged piles and piles of existing collected woven and knit treasures to make space for my sewing machine and creative action.
I was hesitant about my first choice. Before I start designing, fabric should speak volumes to me, in other words inspire me. And Neon Coral georgette crepe just screamed at me: "I'm so bright and plush, please don't hide me in the closet...cut me and make me look beautiful". So, I listened and my first sewing project for this Spring/Summer season will be it. The ideas popped like spring flowers in my head, and here I'm, finally making a jumpsuit. I challenged myself this time, as it's been ages since fashion school when I made shorts and a cowl neck last time.
P.S. It better come out good, as I have a special place to wear it in this week. Details will follow.

Here's the inspiration:
