Harper's Bazaar in the District

Yesterday was a dreadful, rainy day as the heavy dark clouds jammed the sky affecting the mood and depressing the spirit. In spite of all that I packed my camera and headed to Georgetown Coach store to get a glimpse of Editor-in-chief of Harper's Bazaar Magazine, Glenda Bailey who arrived from New York City for a book signing event. The book, Harper's Bazaar Greatest Hits is comprised of a decade's worth of magazine covers and stunningly creative editorials in oversized album-edition format.
For DC2NYConfessions, it turned out to be not only a unique fashionable event but also a great networking opportunity where I met other bloggers, PR experts and more. The vibe of the store was tremendously relaxed, at ease, as guests casually conversed  while being offered delicious holiday-themed delights as well as endless flutes of champagne. Lines were forming quickly as many style-conscious attendees were stocking up for  approaching Christmas. Amazingly, I observed everyone's uplifted spirits in the cozy warmth of the store, with champagne toasts and wonderful Glenda Bailey who especially cheered the crowd with her endless smiles and vivacious personality.
